Small Pleated Teapot Web Specials The surfaces are glazed inThis small teapot features vertical lines carved down the body of the teapot, a whimsical spout and is decorated in Akio's signature white slip. The shinogia traditional Japanese decorative techniqueare carved carefully by hand into the surface of the piece. After bisque firing Akio applies colored slips and then glazes the pieces with translucent matte glaze. Beautiful to see and incredible to hold.
