Mid-C Zanesville Ribbed Stoneware Planter bowling pin paperweight 3 7/8" across at baseI've had several of these c. 1940s 50s ribbed Zanesville pieces over time, both tall columnar vases and planters like this one, which I'll never pass one by as I think they're pretty hard to beat. The stoneware form itself is loaded with texture and irregularities, amplified and augmented by the drips and bubbles of the white slip. Earthy, modern, and super useful. Approx 6 1 2" in diameter x 4 5 8" t. Plenty of imperfections native to the piece,
