Fabulous Velvet Mushroom Pin Cushion modern folk art I am not entirely sureThe existence of this oversized mushroom pin cushion makes me completely happy, and it could be even better with some stick pins stuck in it, perhaps carefully arranged to spell out a word or two across the expanse of its cap. I am not an expert on pin cushions so am not completely sure the age of this, but the velvet looks hand dyed hand painted to me, and the construction of the mushroom very carefully done, with tiny, barely visible hand stitches
