Signed Early Modern Watercolor of Houses on Water Victorian pitcher sometimes set into the handleThis small watercolor is signed on the rocks at lower left; I can't make it out, but I have a of feeling that it was done by someone known as it has a lot of confidence about it. Found in Maine and surely done on site I might venture to guess on Monhegan island, though I don't know that for sure. First quarter of thew 20th century I would think. Fold lines to paper around the painting, suggesting it was framed. Image: 8 1 8" x 5 7 8". Paper: 12" x 6 3
