Hand-beaded Native American Pin Cushion (Flower and Eye Ball!) round chips Pages 20 - 27Another week, another pin cushion and actually a few of them this week! Most hand beaded pieces in this manner are described as Iroquois, though I believe they were made by members of other tribes as well for the tourist market, beginning in the Victorian era. I am not entirely certain the age on this one but would guess 1920s 40s, and it is in near perfect condition. I love the (fairly uncommon) disk shape with white beaded perimeter, and especially
