Bulova - A-15 Pilot Watch AU1065-58G Dial Color: GrayA 15 PILOT WATCH In 1943, the United States Army Air Forces initiated a project to test a new pilots watch that was developed by Bulova. The test watch was described by the USAAF as a Type A 15 Elapsed Time Watch and was designed to meet the specific requirements of pilots navigating by radio aids, dead reckoning, or pilotage. The type A 15 was developed with an incorporated elapsed time feature and a luminous dial. The newest edition of the A 15
