Lovely Old Pennsylvania Painted Slide Lid Crate Wood Box with Berries on Vine nest but they are done inI found this one at a wonderful antiques shop in Lancaster County, PA and am quite smitten with it, for the yellow of the paint and especially for the deep red fruit punctuating the rich green vine running across the lid. Just right, and I love how the "berries" at either end are cut in half, as if to mark the edges, while the full at center marks the spot.
