Scallop Shell in Polychrome, Excellent Antique Pin Cushion with Red Velvet Interior Teran from the Pas-de-Calais regionI come across an antique seashell pin cushions now and then, but I don't believe I've ever see one (to my eye) more satisfying than this, largely due to the shell having been painted in these best close to nature but also really popping colors, and for the way the surface of the shells has aged. Plus, bright red velvet inside, making it somehow feel a bit like a Venus Flytrap! Love. 2 3 4" w x 2 5 8" t x 1 1 2" d. Very good condition, perfectly aged,
