I believe it likely dates to the late 19th century and is dark brown with gold

and a large one

One ding to the stone around the left tusk

and then what looks rather like sheeps wool for the beard

and researching them enough to have a general sense of what they are

Troy, 1883, with Fancy Cancellations primitive wooden donut turner I believe it likely datesI love this visually, with the vertical stripes of the refrigerator exterior perfectly complemented by the vertical ones of the postal cancellations, but also just for featuring a picture of a very early "refrigerator," with huge chunks of ice filling the top chamber. And for having been addressed to the simply described "Meat Market" in West Troy NY. Not quite sure where much meat was going to fit in this one though! Quite a scarce one. 5 7 8 x 3 5 8
